PowerBuilder 2017 will feature 3 editions:
1. Standard Edition: Ideal for developing traditional client / server applications.
2. Cloud Edition: In addition to generating traditional client / server applications, Cloud applications can be developed where the executable resides on the PC and the database in the cloud, which can be accessed through http / https.
3. Universal Edition: Includes the features of the Standard and Cloud editions, as well as the functionality to develop mobile applications on iOS and Android devices.
